Nextcare expands its telehealth offering across the MEA region with See A Doctor teleconsultations
Nextcare has expanded its See A Doctor telehealth offering across Dubai, Bahrain and Egypt in partnership with Health at Hand, a telehealth platform and service provider based in Dubai that offers online video consultations.
Nextcare CEO, Christian Gregorowicz, said: “The service was introduced for Allianz Group in 2019 and later extended to Nextcare members. Our partnership with Health at Hand has proven to be a resounding success, and gives our members a much stronger combined offering through a mutual commitment and determination to transform digital healthcare.”

Service adoption is driven by the high penetration of the MyNextcare mobile app. More than 150,000 members can access the See A Doctor service. Currently, 80 percent of active patient cases are resolved during video consultation (with no further specialist follow-up required).

Designed to support Nextcare insured members in taking a proactive approach to managing their health, the See A Doctor service minimizes patient travel and waiting times and, offers a secure, quality driven, contactless solution to conventional appointments.
Available to all insured members with an outpatient plan, it can be used for a variety of acute, chronic, and preventative concerns. During the consultation, doctors are able to assess symptoms and provide a detailed patient management plan. This covers prescriptions, medication advice, lab test requests and specialist referrals.
The service is particularly beneficial for patients with chronic conditions who require regular prescription refills and includes complimentary medication delivery for Dubai based members.
