The leading TPA is constantly revolutionizing traditional approaches to medical services through the introduction of accessible, cost-efficient telehealth solutions that provide members with a more streamlined and secure health journey.
One of the popular e-services is their symptom checker, an easy-to-use interactive tool that walks patients through a series of short questions about their symptoms and provides advice regarding potential next steps. This service offers a fast and convenient way of providing probably causes of the symptoms, thanks to its artificial based technology.
Another prominent e-service is the “See a Doctor” feature that connects the members with highly qualified doctors via video calls from the comfort of their homes. The service has proved to be quite successful with about 80% of active patient cases being resolved during the video consultations. Nextcare’s app also enables members to easily book appointments directly with doctors and medical facilities that are covered in their insurance plan, effectively eliminating multiple phone calls and long wait times.
The TPA has also improved members’ access to healthcare in the Middle East by partnering with Huawei Petal Search Engine. The integration of Nextcare’s appointment booking solution into the search engine enables members allows members to access an ecosystem of over 6,000 approved healthcare providers across the MEA network.
