NEXtCARE appoints new Chief Business Officer - July 2012
NEXtCARE is pleased to announce the appointment of André
Daoud as Chief Business Officer. Mr. Daoud will be responsible for
the business strategies for new businesses and the expansion
locally and regionally.
Andre, whose appointment is effective immediately, holds a Diploma
in Insurance and has 15 years of experience most of it in the
insurance industry. He has an extensive knowledge in Medical
Insurance, Management, Finance and e-business solutions with a
proven expertise in management, operations, organization analysis
and business development. Previously, André was working for
AXA where he was heading the healthcare operations in the
region.
NEXtCARE Lebanon has launched the "Mini MBA program" -June
2012
NEXtCARE has launched the "MINI MBA program" beginning of June
in Lebanon. The objective of this Mini MBA program is to expose
managers with medical background like nurses and doctors to the
core disciplines of general management and to refresh and deepen
the existing knowledge of managers with business (related) degrees.
Participants will benefit from the practical approach of this Mini
MBA providing them not only with the theoretical business
knowledge, concepts and strategies but more important with
practical tools and case studies targeted to the insurance industry
that they can apply to their day to day work.
NEXtCARE Lebanon employs 80 employees majority of which are
medical professionals. The kickoff workshop for the first two
groups was held in the first week of June followed by the first
course on Marketing.
The training is being provided in collaboration with the
recognized and accredited Lebanese American University and is part
of the Continuing Education Program (CEP) for businesses. Different
subjects are part of the program like Marketing, Sales, Accounting,
Finance, Project Management, Process Optimization, Human resources,
strategic planning and Customer Service. These subjects are
combined with Case studies from the Healthcare and Medical Industry
and practical business methods and tools.
"This program prepares and develops managers as part of their
career development plan prior to any vertical or lateral change or
any new functions that require the acquisition of managerial skills
and competencies. It is part of our HR development strategy as we
are keen to promote talents. We are very pleased to start this
program with our Lebanese colleagues and are looking forward to
expand the geographical scope of this project to the region." Says

New General Manager in NEXtCARE Saudi
Talal Fida joins as new General Manager - April 2012
NEXtCARE has announced the appointment of Talal Fida to the
position of General Manager for, Saudi NEXtCARE, its operating
entity in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He replaces Nazih Dandan,
who was given new responsibilities.
Talal will be responsible for the daily general management of
the independent entity in the Kingdom, overlooking all the
different areas of the business. His previous experience is in
Health Insurance lines and business development last of which with
one of the largest insurers in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

He is a graduate from New York Institute of Technology and Boston
University, Boston MA. The multilingual executive holds a Bachelor
of Science in Computer Engineering and MBA in Finance.

Takaful International assigns NEXtCARE as Third Party
Administrator for the Qatari market- March 2012
Takaful international has bestowed NEXtCARE as the Third party
administrator for its new branch in Qatar. The agreement, signed on
the 5th of March 2012 between Takaful International and the Dubai
based NEXtCARE assigns the leading third party administrator to
manage the health claims of Takaful International in Qatar.
The agreement was signed in Takaful International headquarters by
Mr. Younis J. AlSayed, Chief Executive of Takaful International and
Mr. Christian Gregorowicz Chief Executive Officer; with the
attendance of Ms. Layla Abdulredha Abdulla- Claims Operations
Manager in the presence of Mr. Essam Al Ansari- General Manager,
Mr. Ali Noor- Deputy General Manager, Family Takaful and Healthcare
and Mrs. ReemaNawrooz, Senior Manager - Family Takaful &
Healthcare.
According to this agreement NEXtCARE will provide Takaful
international with a variety of services like Customer Service,
Risk assessment, Health claims management, IT solution and added
services.

NEXtCARE donates to the Dubai Autism Centre - January 2012
In the occasion of the festive season and the New Year and with
the spirit of supporting our community; NEXtCARE contributed in
donating toys to the Dubai Autism center. This Corporate Social
Responsibility initiative aims to give back to the community and
helps autistic children and children with special needs.
Exceeding the initial goal of collecting sixty gifts, the NEXtCARE
team donated around 100 gifts for the Children's fair. Each of the
sixty children who attended the event received a toy from the
NEXtCARE employees.
The Children's fair was organized and sponsored by Dubai Autism
Center. The event was held on Saturday 28th of January 2012 hosted
at Fakhruddin and Farrida Ajmal's Residence in Al Barsha. A group
of 60 autistic children and children with special needs from
various Dubai schools aged between 5 to 18, attended the event. The
Fair included face painting, hair decoration, food stalls, art
stall for the children to express their creativity, characters to
interact with the children, games stalls, and others.Thanks to all
the NEXtCARE employees for their generous donations, and their
gracious support in helping the community!
