The core responsibility of the Personal Assistant role is to support the General Manager (GM) with duties including calendaring, meeting planning, correspondence, personal assistant functions, reports and internal/external liaison to our executive staff. 

The Personal Assistant to GM is responsible for managing the general administration of GM Office. This position assists in all areas necessary to facilitate and coordinate the needs of the GM.

Required Knowledge, Abilities, and skills:
  • Requires strong communication, attention to detail and quality outputs.
  • Professional demeanor; ability to interact well with executives, partner organizations, and payers, plus good attitude and mature judgment.
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
  • Fluency in Microsoft Office applications (including Word, Access, PowerPoint, Excel), Outlook, and general Internet and research skills.
  • Shows flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and project coordination experience.
  • Able to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, as well as outside clients and vendors.
  • Able to prioritize own work and attend to multiple assignments.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s or equivalent degree is required
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience, in a similar role
  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Outstanding experience with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent Communication Skills
  • Team Player
  • Knowledge of insurance industry is a plus
  • Physically fit to carry out duties and responsibilities
