The Business Analyst is responsible for a full range of activities that ensure the operational effectiveness and excellence across the business Units and Departments.  He/she would be required to re-design and document workflow and make appropriate recommendations that positively impact operational/monetary effectiveness.  The Business Analyst’s primary objective is to assist the business in implementing technology solutions in a cost-effective way by determining the requirements of a project or program and communicating them clearly to stakeholders, facilitators and partners.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Track and evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implements solutions that will positively impact the company.
  • Lead ongoing reviews of business processes and develop optimization strategies.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest processes and IT advancements to automate and modernize systems.
  • Act as the functional expert in the specified business techniques and application(s).
  • Work directly with the appropriate personnel to understand the concept, objectives and approach.
  • Conduct meetings and presentations to share ideas and findings.
  • Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
  • Document and communicate the results of the efforts made.
  • Assist business units and department managers in developing tactical and strategic services and/or programs to support the business unit’s goals (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, market share, etc.).
  • Reviews, analyzes, and creates detailed documentation of business systems and user needs, including workflow, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer programs.
  • Consults with Nextcare’s personnel to determine business, functional and technical requirements for specified applications.
  • Coordinates the development of all approved versions of business and functional specifications for specified applications. Reviews use cases and other technical documents with IT project staff to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents.
  • Develops effective reporting tools for the business unit.
  • Analyzes the business unit’s activities and trends, and compares the analysis to service standards and best practices. Presents findings and works with the Head of Units and other personnel to identify and implement strategies that will address tactical and strategic goals.
  • Prepares routine reports (financial, quality, production, customer service, operational efficiency, market share, etc.).
  • Analyzes trends and recommends adjustments, while addressing and capitalizing on trends.
Key Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration / IT background preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
